3. How We Share Information

A. Marketing Partners (participating law firms)

If you submit a request, we may share your information with one participating law firm so they can evaluate and contact you regarding your request.

B. Service providers

We may share information with vendors that help us operate the Services, such as hosting, security, CRM/lead distribution tools, SMS/voice providers for OTP and calls, analytics providers, and call tracking providers (and, if enabled, call recording/transcription vendors).

C. Advertising and analytics partners

We may share certain device and event data (e.g., cookie IDs, pixel events) with advertising/analytics partners for measurement, attribution, and (where permitted) targeted advertising.

D. Legal and business transfers

We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or financing.

4. Cookies, Pixels, and Targeted Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies (pixels/tags) for site functionality and security, analytics, and advertising measurement (and where permitted, retargeting). See our Cookie Policy and Consent Preferences for choices.

5. “Sale” / “Sharing” Notice and Privacy Choices

Some state privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly. Depending on how information is disclosed to Marketing Partners and/or advertising partners, certain disclosures may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable law.

You may opt out of:

  • Sale/sharing of personal information (as defined by applicable law)
  • Targeted advertising (as defined by applicable law)
  • Use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (where applicable)

Opt-Out Links

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Where required, we treat recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) as a request to opt out of sale/sharing and/or certain targeted advertising for that browser/device.

6. Texts, Calls, and Communications

A. OTP text messages (verification)

If you request OTP verification, we send a one-time code by SMS for verification/security purposes.

B. Calls (including automated/AI-assisted calls)

We may place calls (including automated or AI-assisted calls) for verification, fraud prevention, and request handling. If you do not want calls, you may tell us during the call or contact us.

C. Marketing Partner contact

After you submit your request and it is routed, the selected participating law firm may contact you regarding your request. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies.

7. Call Tracking and Recording

We may use tracking numbers to measure marketing performance and route calls. If call recording is enabled, calls may be recorded and/or transcribed for quality assurance, verification, and compliance. When recording is used, we will provide notice where required by law.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, route requests, maintain compliance records (consent/opt-outs/suppression lists), resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
