1. Program Overview

These SMS/Text Messaging Terms (“SMS Terms”) govern text messages sent by Bulktide LLC, doing business as Settlements Watchdog (“we,” “us,” “our”).

Our SMS program may include messages related to:

  • Verification (for example, one-time passcodes/OTP to confirm a phone number)
  • Request-related updates (for example, confirmations or follow-ups related to a request you submitted)
  • Promotional messages (only if you separately opt in to receive marketing/promotional texts)

Settlements Watchdog is a marketing and advertising service, not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice.

By providing your phone number and opting in (for example, via a web form checkbox or similar mechanism), you authorize us to send you text messages at that number for the purposes described above.

Consent is not required as a condition of purchase. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with the Services. Typical frequencies:

  • OTP/verification: up to 1 message per verification attempt
  • Request-related updates: up to 5 messages per request
  • Promotional messages (if opted in): up to 4 messages per month

4. Costs & Carrier Charges

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, and these fees may vary based on your carrier and plan.

We do not charge you to receive text messages from us, but carrier charges may still apply.

5. Opt-Out Instructions (STOP)

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, you may receive a final confirmation message.

We may also honor other standard opt-out keywords (for example, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE), depending on your carrier and messaging provider.

If you opt out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from Settlements Watchdog unless you opt back in.

7. Carriers, Delivery, and Eligibility

Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless provider and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The SMS program is intended for users in the United States. You must have a compatible mobile device and an eligible mobile number to participate. We may block or refuse messages to certain numbers, carriers, or regions.

8. Privacy & Data Use

We may collect and use information related to SMS communications (for example, your phone number, opt-in/opt-out status, timestamps, and message delivery events) to operate and improve the Services, prevent abuse, and maintain compliance records.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates the most recent revision. Your continued participation in the SMS program after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated SMS Terms.
